Registration Deadline: September 24th, 2021
Lecture Times: Mondays | 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Course Dates: September 13th, 2021 - December 6th, 2021
Mid-Semester Break: October 11th - 15th, 2021
Grading: : 5-6 Assignments | Experiments implemented in Python or Julia
Course Overview
This course covers selected methods and practical algorithms for mining and analyzing graphs. Several applications in various domains will be covered. The selected topics include random graph models, centrality measures, degree correlations, community detection, graph embeddings, and hypergraphs. The theoretical foundations will be complemented with practical experiments (Python and Julia notebooks) and students will be asked to code (Python or Julia) and analyze graph datasets by themselves.
