Mathematics-in-Industry Case Studies Journal
A Fields Institute journal published by SpringerOpen
|MICS aims to meet the publication needs of the burgeoning community of mathematicians who work on problems that are important to industry. Its central theme is the stimulation of innovative mathematics, statistics and related computational methods, by the modelling and analysis of such problems across engineering and the physical, biological and social sciences. The emphasis will be on case studies drawn from actual applications of mathematics to industrial problems. The journal will feature both novel mathematical applications and also new mathematics arising from problems in industry. The journal is interested in publishing case studies both of the application of the mathematics itself and of the impact of that application. Authors are encouraged to make creative use of the on-line nature of the journal in the manner in which they present their results.|
