PARKING AT UWO:

Participants can park for free at the Kent parking lot in the centre of the campus if they tell the attendant they are are attending the Fields Workshop.

Flying to London:
Depending on your airline, you can choose between arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport, approximately 150km from London, or at the London International Airport.

Driving to London: From the airport you will need to drive to London. You may rent a car (see driving directions below) or use a shuttle service.

Shuttle to London: The shuttle service is provided by Robert Q. Airbus www.robertq.com.
You must make a reservation online at their website so that they expect you. Rate is approx. $52.00 one way. Please see their website for more information. Please note that the shuttle service will insist on delivering you to the airport at the recommended time: 90 minutes before departure for flights within Canada and 2hr for flights to the US. Consequently, you might have to leave London well ahead of your departure time.

Flying to London International Airport

This is a more convenient option as you do not have to wait for a shuttle. The website of the airport is: www.londonairport.on.ca
A taxi is the the most convenient option for transportation to campus.

Train:

There is direct train service from Toronto to London. From downtown Toronto it takes almost exactly 2 hours. Tickets are approximately $56 but are cheaper if purchased at least 7 days ahead of time. Via can be reached by phone at 1-888-VIARAIL or online at www.viarail.com.

Driving to the University of Western Ontario:

From the East or South (Peripheral Route):

Follow Hwy 401 to Highbury Avenue Exit (#189)
Follow Highbury Avenue (north) to Oxford Street (9 kms)
Turn left (west) onto Oxford Street and follow to Wharncliffe Road (4 kms)
Turn right (north) onto Wharncliffe Road and follow to the fifth set of traffic lights (You will pass by Althouse College and Perth Hall Residence on the left, and continue past the soccer fields also on your left)
Turn right (east) at the traffic lights into campus onto Lambton Drive
