Fields Institute COVID-19 Updates
Information for the Fields Institute Community

June 28, 2023: The Fields Institute is open. Most activities of the Institute are offered in hybrid format with online access for those who cannot attend in person.
We are actively monitoring University of Toronto, Toronto Public Health, Public Health Ontario and Government of Canada guidance and instructions and have altered our operations accordingly. These requirements are being updated as public health directives evolve. Notices of current directives will be posted at the entry to the building and on this page.
As recommended by Toronto Public Health, we encourage everyone to wear a face mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin while in public or crowded spaces at the Fields Institute.
Note that due to the need to maintain physical distancing, office space is reserved for long-term visitors. The Hotdesk program is currently on hold until further notice.
