Combinatorial Algebra meets Algebraic Combinatorics
to be held at Queen's University, Ontario
Organizer: Mike Roth and Gregory G. Smith (Queen’s University)
Hugh Thomas (University of New Brunswick)

Description
The purpose of this conference is to encourage unique collaborations between combinatorial algebraists and algebraic combinatorics. This is both a regional meeting and an opportunity for researchers with similar mathematical interests but variations of focus to develop collaborations and exchange ideas.

This workshop builds on a series of successful meetings including those held at Queen’s University in 2004 and 2010, the University of Ottawa in 2005, the Fields Institute in 2006 and 2013, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2007 and 2012, Dalhousie University in 2008 and 2014, Memorial University in 2009, and Lakehead University in 2011. These annual meetings, which have spawned new research collaborations, are growing in popularity and attracting new participants.

Speakers:
Mats Boij, Royal Institute of Technology
Patricia Hersh, North Carolina State University
Eric Katz, University of Waterloo
Cristian Lenart, SUNY Albany
