Bio
Andie (Andrijana) Burazin is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto Mississauga, jointly appointed to the Institute for the Study of University Pedagogy and the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences. Her work focuses on the teaching and learning of undergraduate mathematics, particularly the high school-to-university transition, mathematical communication, and numeracy. She is a co-leader of FYMSiC, serves on the CMS Education Committee, is a board member of the National Numeracy Network, and co-directs the Centre for Mathematics Education at the Fields Institute. She teaches first- and second-year courses, including “Numeracy for University and Beyond,” and has contributed to textbooks, research, curriculum design, and outreach.
