The Fields Institute Coxeter Lecture Series (CLS), the Distinguished
Lecture Series (DLS), and the Distinguished Lecture Series
in Statistical Science (DLSS) are intended to bring a leading
international mathematician in the field of the thematic program
of the Institute to give a series of three lectures.
Coxeter Lecture Series and the Distinguished Lecture Series
Proposals and nominations for the Coxeter Lecture Series and
the Distinguished Lecture Series are considered at the fall
and spring meetings of the Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP),
and should be sent by September 15 or March 15.

Qualified candidates who have recently completed a PhD in
a related area of the mathematical sciences are encouraged
to apply. The fellowships provide for a period of at least
one year of engagement in research and participation in the
activities of the Institute. They may be offered in conjunction
with partner universities, through which a second year of
support may be possible. One recipient will be awarded the
institute's prestigious Jerrold E. Marsden Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Applicants seeking postdoctoral fellowships funded by other

Recognizing Innovation and Excellence in Mathematics Education
The Fields Institute invites nominations by December 1
of each year for this award recognizing an educator in Canada
who has demonstrated innovation and excellence in promoting
mathematics education at the elementary, secondary, college
or university level.
The program brings one of the worlds leading scientists
to the Institute for a full semester each year, to give a
lecture course for graduate and senior undergraduate students.
The program is designed to intensify the mathematical research
and interaction at Fields by enabling distinguished senior
mathematicians to visit for one to two semesters each year,
and be active participants in the program activities at the
Fields Institute during their tenure.
