NICDS PROJECT PROPOSAL
(A sample of a previous proposals )

NAME OF PROJECT

1. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT (MAXIMUM 5 PAGES)

• A short introductory description in non-technical language
• Research to be accomplished
• Description of sub-projects
• New statistical methodology to be developed
• Relevance to emerging or existing complex data structures in substantive areas

2. PROPOSED PROJECT LEADER AND PARTICIPANTS
Proposed Project Leader: Affiliation, Mailing Address, email, NSERC Form 100 or equivalent.
For each proposed Project Investigator: Affiliation, email
For each researcher: A short description of research field, major accomplishments, current grant levels and major awards.

3. COLLABORATION
List any projected partner institutes, industrial partners, government agencies, and so on, and the nature of their proposed contribution including an estimate of annual cash support.

4. BUSINESS PLAN and BUDGET
Give a brief business plan with estimates of revenues and expenses. Include a description of networking activity within the project.

5. REFEREES

Please include the names of five (5) potential referees who are familiar with the subject area.
