FieldsLive Video Archive
This archive holds videos of past Fields lectures. Lectures are archived in two formats. The interactive format, viewed in a flash-player-enabled desktop web browser, allows you to zoom in and out on specific areas of the blackboards or screens (providing a viewing experience more like being present in the room). The static format, although it does not allow for zooming in to read small blackboard writing, is downloadable and compatible with a wide variety of desktop and mobile video players.
The FieldsLive video archive will be unavailable from January 4-18, 2021.
During this period, the archive framework will be upgraded and videos converted to take better advantage of (and be more compatible with) the new capabilities that have come to web browsers and devices over the past decade.
In particular, dependence on the now-obsolete Adobe Flash Player will be eliminated.
March-December 2020
Events occurring after mid-March 2020 were held online due to the Covid pandemic, so were not recorded using the on-premises FieldsLive system.
However, videos are available for many of these events, either on the Fields YouTube channel or uploaded to each individual event's web page.
These videos will also be available on the FieldsLive archive once the upgrade of the archive is complete in mid-January 2021.
