Dr. Rob Tibshirani, a full professor at Stanford University, is a popular speaker with considerable experience in computer intensive statistical methods that have been applied researchers around the world in a wide variety of scientific studies. He has co-authored several popular texts in statistics that include the Bootstrap Method with Bradley Efron, the Generalized Additive Model with Trevor Hastie and his most recent Elements of Statistical Learning with Trevor Hastie and Jerome Friedman.
