- How might "context" be taught in a mathematics Literacy
training programme: A South African dilemma
5. Panel discussion: Teaching math in contexts: What is the value
of context? What contexts are valuable? (Each member of the panel
will present their position and/or the contexts they use and this
will be followed by a full group discussion).
Lunch will be served from 11:30 12:30 and the meeting will
commence at 12:30. We anticipate adjournment by 4:00 pm.
Remaining fall term Forum dates: 29 November (back at Fields Institute).
