Fields Communications Officer to Speak at Yonge-Dundas Square on May 13th
The talk will be part of North America's first Soapbox Science event.
Our very own Communications/Development Officer, Malgosia Ip (Pakulska), will be speaking at Yonge-Dundas Square on May 13th as part of North America’s first Soapbox science event.
Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women scientists and the science they do. The events transform public areas into an arena for public learning and scientific debate. Toronto's event is sponsored by the Faculty of Science at Ryerson University.
Malgosia will be speaking at noon about her PhD research in a talk entitled “Using Jello to regenerate the injured spinal cord”. She will be joined by 11 other scientists.
If you’re in the GTA, come check it out. She’d love to meet you!
