GIVING TO FIELDS
|May 22, 2013|
The Fields Institute is grateful for the support provided to us by the governments
of Ontario and Canada, and for the growing support and commitment we receive from
our sponsoring universities. Their assistance has enabled the Institute to have
a profound impact on mathematics in Canada and internationally, but to continue
to grow and develop, we require additional financial resources. The Institute
is doing more than ever before. We are pressed by the community to explore new
initiatives and to mount new activities in response to the growth of mathematics,
in Canada and abroad.
That is why we ask individuals, corporations, or foundations for donations or support. Contributions will keep the Fields Institute moving forward, and help us develop and showcase cutting edge developments in mathematics.
The Institute is known for its outstanding and highly focused research and educational programs in mathematics. The accompanying brochure describes some of our recent successes.
A complete description of our programs can be found in our most recent annual report.
The Institute has the status of a registered charitable organization in Canada, and will issue Canadian income tax receipts for all qualifying donations received. An on-line donation facility is available (see links above). Alternatively, donations can be made by printing out and mailing the accompanying Canadian resident PDF form found at the above link.
The Institute welcomes donations from US residents, for which US tax receipts can be provided through the American Friends of Fields Foundation. We are currently unable to provide US tax receipts for donations made on-line. If you are a US resident who wishes to receive a tax receipt for your donation, please print out and mail in the US resident PDF form linked to at the top of this page.
